Spaces

Here we list spaces that are of interest, that we may be able to twin with, organise discussions, and research together:

A Real Space is community space that real people feel comfortable in. A good working definition of a real space is a space which can hold regular public events and free overnight events such as Hackathons.

Event Spaces

Newspeak House at 133 Bethnal Green Rd is a club which hosts public and private events for researching the intersection of Politics, Media and Government.

The Synergiehub is an open network that invites you to participate in projects for fair economy, grassroots governance, free education and citizen journalism. The projects include activities in the domains of agriculture, housing, health and technology. The New River Café is a cosy bar, café and performance space, and home to 199 Radio.

The ExFed warehouse space is a new venue with a capcity of up to 500 people.

Music Spaces

Monom is based in the Funkhaus in Berlin. Monom is an experimental performance venue

Funkhaus was built in the 1950s as the radio broadcasting center for East Germany within the USSR. The design of the Funkhaus came out of three founding principles - perfection, practicality and a focus on creative production.

In October 2015, 4DSOUND opened the doors of the Spatial Sound Institute, located at Art Quarter Budapest in Hungary.

We are providing a series of month long residencies in London, and are looking to partner with other spaces to provide a network of spaces so that members can take part in Residency Exchanges.

Happenings in physical space are more like workshops than they are lectures or passive viewing experiences. We should explore how we can use these events to film more things, and interview and bring more people into the conversation.

Here we describe the architecture of conversation, in a system or design perspective, not as a singular temporal event but as a network process that occurs across time and space.
